* Original pretty knobs have been retained and refreshed with a Rosey Gold/Copper finish

* The fold-down bureau has the original leather desk pad – restored with colour to match the cabinet.

* Side glazed cabinets are back-lined with a beautiful bold and colourful floral paper, with metallic accents to match the cabinet finish/colours.

* Co-ordinating paper lines the drawer.

* The useful cupboard below matching the upper bureau, in Plum & Pink.

* Feet are original and waxed to bring out the colour and wood grain.

As you would expect, a piece of this age, does have aged characteristics, they have had a previous life and as a result show signs of a previously loved life. they all add to the character, history and beauty.

All paint used is Frenchic. Mineral and chalk paint which is environmentally friendly, water-based, minimal VOCs, EN71-3 certified and safe for use on children’s furniture too.

Collection from HX6 is most welcome. You will need a Van and two people to life. It’s a very heavy piece of furniture.

Looking at recent estimates for deliveries I expect this to be around £40-£50 for distances around and hour or so from my postcode. Longer distances will be more at maybe £60 – £90.

Quotations will be obtained prior to purchase. You are of course welcome to source your own couriers.
