This elegant chest of draws circa 1930’s has five drawers and sits on small Queen Anne legs. The chest has been hand painted and decoupaged using the exquisite ‘Dutch Floral’ wallpaper by Woodchip & Magnolia.  A beautiful design that has so much detail you just can’t stop looking at it and the black paint with gold gilding highlights serve to frame the pattern and enhance the simple features of the chest itself.  Overall the piece is in excellent condition, the drawers are running smoothly and the reclaimed brass handles are in keeping with the style and period of the piece. 

I pride myself on a high quality finish and each piece is carefully selected, cleaned and prepared before being completed with attention to the smallest detail.  The paper is cured with layers of poly acrylic sealant which is extremely hard wearing and suitable for everyday use. A care sheet is provided to advise you on how to keep it looking its best but minus the furniture polish it can be enjoyed just as any other furniture.

I choose well made pieces, ensure they are in good working order and corrected of any major imperfections.  However, they are previously owned and often of considerable age, therefore there is sometimes evidence of its history in the form of minor dents or small nicks which all add character to the piece.
