A sideboard with drinks cabinet from the 1960s mid century, being long, wide and low. A well made substantial sideboard with 4 drawers running along the top, each with a very cool retro detail to the front as well as a square brushed bronze drawer knob. The insides of the drawers all have a wine coloured baize base, all in excellent condition.
The three cupboards below the drawers all have a wooden handle section at the top which matches the drawer front detail, with the cupboards to the left and right being shelved in the middle allowing for plenty of storage.
The central cupboard door drops down, with hinges, to reveal a very large cocktail preparation section, with a mirrored wipe clean base to the back of the door and to the base on the inside of the cocktail cabinet. There is also a useful shelf along the centre which is rebated allowing for the storage of lots of full height wine bottles, as well as wine glasses etc. There is also a light in this section which turns on and off automatically with movement as the door is opened. The light can be removed from the magnet holder at the back and charged with a usb lead (which is included for you). The sideboard stands on good strong tapered legs, with small brass studded feet.
The whole piece has been professionally painted in a durable non toxic and VOC free grey/blue mineral paint then finished with a flat clear wax for extra durability and effect. The natural wood areas on the fronts of the drawers and the cupboard handles have been stripped back to reveal the natural grain, then sealed with a hard wax oil (water based). The natural wood areas on the inside of the drawers and cupboards have been nourished with a natural hemp oil.

Most of my pieces are quite heavy so if you are unable to help unload please arrange for a family member, friend or neighbour to be available. All of my items have been restored with care and attention however they have all seen a previous life so may show some signs of age, past life and the occasional small imperfection, ding, or dent.
