A sideboard drinks cabinet from the 1960s mid century having the most amazing wood grain creating a beautiful wow factor. Having very cool retro shaped drawers and cupboard doors, both drawers having a blue baize lining in perfect condition along with a sectioned drawer to the right side. Both cupboards are shelved allowing for wine glass storage etc.
The central barrel shaped cupboard door opens to reveal a large cocktail cabinet with mirrored base and shelf providing ample space for wine bottles etc. This section also has a light which has been re wired by a professional electrician and plugs in to the mains from the back having extra lead added for ease of placement. The light automatically turns on and off as the central door opens and closes. On the back of the door there is a gold edged shelf providing further storage.
The well made and substantial piece stands on small strong tapered legs and all the square bronze coloured handles are original and in perfect condition. There is also a metal bar which runs along the top of the sideboard adding to the effect.
The whole piece has been professionally painted in a blue durable toxin and voc free mineral paint with areas of a bronze retro stripe, then finished with a flat hard wax for added durability and effect. The drawer and cabinet doors have been stripped back to reveal the beautiful wood grain, then sealed with an oil based wax (non toxic), then finished with a flat hard wax. The natural wood areas inside the drawers and cupboards have been nourished with a natural hemp oil. The back of the cocktail section and the back of the central door have been given a retro print by Hornsea Pottery’s 1960’s retro range, then sealed.

Most of my pieces are quite heavy so if you are unable to help unload please arrange for a family member, friend or neighbour to be available. Two person couriers can be quite expensive and may take longer to arrange delivery so please contact me before purchase if you would like me to look into this for you and provide you with a delivery quote.

All pieces are wrapped with recyclable eco friendly bubble wrap, recycled cardboard lined, then shrink wrapped ready for delivery.

All of my items have been restored with care and attention however they have all seen a previous life so may show some signs of age, past life and the occasional small imperfection, ding, or dent.
