This beautifully restored ‘MILAN’ model 198 drinks cabinet by British furniture makers ‘Beautility’ of London dating 1957 and designed by Ronald Sadow. It’s sleek design has been emphasised by the choice of oak wood veneer with its classic mid 20th Century design reflecting contemporary tastes and trends. The drop down drinks area features a removable automatic LED rechargeable light, new mirror, original stripped glass section and glass shelf at the back. To the sides is a pair of shelved cabinets and handleless drawers below, it has amply storage space for bottles, glasses and other entertaining paraphernalia. The unit has its original brass handles, brass insert trim and brass feet.

The original finish has been completely stripped and carefully sanded. Several layers of hardwearing, protective Osmo wax-oil has been applied highlighting the gorgeous striped grain. The angled edge to the top surface has been carefully painted with a black mineral paint helping to amplify its stylish lines. All hardware has been removed, cleaned and polished back to life.

Internally, the cabinets have been cleaned, sanded and painted in coal black toxic free mineral paint, with a unique gold marble effect waterproof vinyl applied to the back panels, doors and drop down drink preparation shelf.
