A beautifully refinished Edwardian/Regency style sideboard made of solid wood that has been hand painted using Dixie Belle’s furniture matt paint Black Seas (this is a black blue navy colour).

This is a unique piece of furniture with lovely delicate detailing in the print as well as the gorgeous wood grain of the solid worktop. Its slim serpentine silhouette gives it an elegant and sophisticated look.

The dresser has been decoupaged in a stunning print that features a large crane bird with its wings outstretched flying in between grandiose peony flowers that are in full bloom. Upon this is a metallic geometric maze pattern that gives this piece a modern edge. It is this rose gold pattern which has also been hand painted onto some of the painted areas on the sideboard itself as well as the wooden work top which really compliments the piece’s querkiness.

The sideboard opens with two doors on either side and the inside compartments consist of one shelf each. The middle section of the buffet has two drawers. All in all this offers a huge amount of storage space. Another option would be to use this as a beautiful dressing table as there is plenty of room for a chair and the placement of a trifold mirror. The paint used on this piece is waterproof, however we still recommend only using a damp lintfree cloth for cleaning. Treat with care as you would with any other high quality piece of furniture.

Please note that this piece has been restored skilfully, with high attention to detail, however it may have a dink here and there showing signs of a previous much loved life.
